LAUNCHING NOVEMBER 4th, 2025. JOIN THE WAITLIST FOR A REMINDER.
A mixed media workshop of reflection, art making and discovery.
There are moments in life sometimes quiet, sometimes cataclysmic when something shifts. A crack forms in the known, and through it a new possibility begins to emerge. These are openings. They mark the edge of transformation, where we let go of what no longer fits and begin to glimpse what we might become.
This online creative art workshop is an invitation to explore those thresholds-personally, creatively and spiritually-through the language of mixed media art and art book making. Using layered papers, deconstructing techniques, textures, found objects and intuitive mark making we will create a personal artist book that speaks to moments of change, surrender, growth or reimagining. Whether your “opening” is recent or long past, clear or still unfolding, the is is a space to give it form, shape and color.
Art making for me is not about creating something beautiful, it’s a process of reflection, a way of asking questions I don’t yet have words for. It’s how I discover what I’m holding, what I’ve outgrown, and what I long for next. In this workshop we will approach art as a companion to discovery: not to fix or solve, but to witness and reveal.
No experience necessary-only a willingness to be curious, to reflect deeply, and follow your creative instincts. Come with your stories, your questions, your quiet transformations. Together we will make art at the edge of what’s becoming.

THE ARTIST
Aimee Irel Bishop
Aimee is a lifelong creative and maker. Finding solace and healing within the pages of her own journal she decided that sharing this most precious process with others was one of her greatest passions. She has hosted in person gatherings and workshops, taught online and built 2 beautiful and nurturing public studio spaces where people could come and explore mixed media art and community as a healing modality. A self professed “art cheerleader” she is gifted at making art accessible to all. Aimee believes Art is a sacred form of self expression and in its purest form it is your truest emotion and a most powerful act of self love.
I am a gatherer. A creative. A lover. A beauty seeker. I think the act of expressing ourselves through making is one of the most powerful and important parts of being human. Art making is healing, grounding and expanding. It builds connection and truth.
I consider my entire home my studio. I make sure there are places all around me that remind me to connect with my creative energy. You’ll see in my video my creative spaces expand outside of my working studio. I have spaces for writing and meditation which are a big part of my art making. I also keep little art baskets tucked around the places in my home I frequent. Near the sofa, my bed, our loft, my hiking backpack, the car and in the kitchen. The practice of making a space where art making is accessible is so important to me. I hope you enjoy this peek into my space.
