Spring Beltane Celebration | A Creative Workshop April 30th, 2023
- Live Workshop
Join Colleen Taugher and Lily Taylor of Melliflora Flower Farm in the celebration of May Day or Beltane at Hunter Moon Homestead. It is time to celebrate that the birds are back and singing, the earth is bursting with new life, and the warmth of the sun is returning! We will gather together to celebrate the return of the light and the setting of intentions for what we would like to see grow and bloom in our lives over the next several months.
As people who work closely with the rhythms of the earth and the seasons, we take inspiration from Celtic holidays for our own self discovery. Our Beltane retreat invites you to join us in connection with nature and an opportunity to tap into the creative energy of spring.
Come and celebrate with us!

THE GUIDES
Colleen
Taugher
Colleen is the owner of Melliflora Flower Farm and Design Studio in Troy Idaho. Coming from a farming family in Wisconsin, Colleen is returning to her agricultural roots with Melliflora. A career start as an artist adds an aesthetic element that is the heart of the farm. Colleen is focused on creating experiences for people with flowers and using her floral design work to elevate the most important inflection points in the lives of her friends and neighbors in the community.
Lily Taylor
Lily came to be the Field Manager at Melliflora through a desire to learn new skills and be surrounded by beauty. Little did she know she would fall completely in love with flowers; growing them, creating with them, and most importantly, sharing them. She has become particularly obsessed with dried and wearable flowers. She is excitedly gathering more knowledge about sustainable farming, floral design, and the important role flowers play in our lives and culture.
