ACCESS AVAILABLE MARCH 3RD, 2026
A mixed media workshop for healing generational patterns. Learn photo transfer, printmaking & symbolic mark-making. Transform your past through creative practice.
What if the past doesn’t really exist at all and we are just living a version of it over and over? What if we could capture a moment from our past and shift it into a powerful and beautiful memory that nurtures the best version of ourselves? What if the past can be changed, shifted, mined for the gold that is hidden within it? What if we could bring our reimagined past into current time and live from this transformed atmosphere?
Join with artist Kate Poole for a transformational online mixed media art course. We will weave together art making with ritual, contemplation, and creating powerful intentions for a reimagined present moment. Through re-imaging our past in new ways, we'll cultivate new creative experiences. We can see the past in a new light, and bring a present wisdom to what has gone before us.
In this online workshop we will reimagine the past using paint, photo transfer, vintage and nostalgic images, family photo manipulation, vintage and dyed fabrics, sketching, story-telling, exploration of the healing power of color, and mark making as symbolism. We will experience the old ways of creating art through simple weaving techniques, quilt making and stitching. I will show you how to make your own charcoal, and there will be many ways to use this handmade medium in our projects. I will show you how to fold a non-stitch book with many secret pockets to contain images and stories, and to hold the treasures of your reimagining.
I look forward to reimagining with you because after all, "merrily, merrily, merrily, life is but a dream..."

"Gardening has been a big part of my life. I grow both medicinal herbs for my skin care line, Essential Apothecary Alchemist, and food crops, for farm to table dinners for our guests. I look forward to offering a place of refuge, thoughtful nourishment, and lavish offerings from my heart to yours."
