The Book of Becoming | Handbound Visual Journal Workshop, October 2nd-5th, 2025

In this immersive, soul-nourishing workshop, we’ll create a handbound visual journal that becomes a sacred mirror of your lived experience, your story, and your unfolding path. This is a workshop about creative soul-tending—where personal narrative meets mixed media explorations.
Using intuitive printmaking techniques, bookbinding, guided writing, and symbolic creations, you will craft a unique visual artifact that holds evidence of who you have been, who you are today, and who you are becoming.
Throughout the workshop we will explore archetypes, symbology, alchemical principles for transformation (and manifestation), along with multiple ways to listen deeply and see clearly to the energies that shape your inner wisdom.
Our time will be spent creating layered prints, hand-stitched pages, poetic fragments, personal sigils and collaged stories in an attempt to reveal what is most ready to be expressed.
This is not about perfection, but about presence. Not about answers, but about authentic alignment. You’ll leave with a handmade book infused with your truth. It will be a sacred container for your unfolding story, a tool for reflection & contemplation, and a talisman for the journey ahead.
No prior experience with the techniques or the bookmaking required. Just bring your curiosity, openness, and courage to create from your soul.
Participants will leave with:
- A handbound book infused with their essence and story told through symbols, color, textures, and words
- Printwork based on a set of personal symbols, sigils, and archetypes
- Writing and reflection rooted in personal myth and their energetic blueprint
- A tangible talisman of their own manifestation, transformation, healing, and creative processes

WHAT IS INCLUDED
- 2 day guided instruction in our renovated Bee House Studio, with free time to explore and be inspired in nature.
- Most required class materials will be provided. An additional materials list will be sent prior to class.
- All meals and lots of snacks! Gourmet farm-to-table meals throughout your stay, using seasonal, organic produce grown on site.
- Rustic luxury accommodations for 3 nights.
- A welcome cocktail/mocktail party!
- Evening camp fires (weather permiting).
