Those that follow the moon say it is a good practice to write down your intentions on the new moon phases. These little seed ideas, dreams, and desires, get planted into the deep unconscious where they soak in the darkness of the deep within our consciousness and germinate to sprout when the moon becomes full.

The full moon fills my room and is amplified by the light snow that floats from the skies. I am surrounded by rolling hills and pine trees, it is a sanctuary of peaceful quiet. The full moon shines its light into the shadows of my consciousness.

My absence in writing over the last several months speaks to the energy spent in physical work. Daily toil, and many accomplishments, left me feeling exhausted, just able to take care of everyday tasks. My new mantra has been, “everything I need is here within my own consciousness”. Resources need restored. Winter is my restoration.
